Fabuous site by a beautiful beach

Excellent site by wonderful yellow craig beach. Easy to access with good signage. Friendly and efficient welcome. Choice of available pitches. Clear instructions and information. Clean well maintained toilets and showers. Peaceful. Great dog walking. Wonderful birds and wildlife in area. Walk to North Berwick easy. Walk to pub nearby. Great to see the care the site managers took of the environment. Planting tubs with flowers and herbs. Really good information area. Nothing but praise for this site. Thank you.

Excellent Peaceful and Relaxing site

We had our first trip of the year, and our first visit to Yellowcraig and have both decided it will not be our last. We were sorry we were only there for 3 nights but plan to return with friends with their camper van. The site managers are excellent, very friendly and welcoming, are hard working and keep the site and facilities spotless and very well maintained. We read some negative reviews about the facilities being dated but we have to disagree, they are cleaned within an inch of their life. The site is next door to the Yellowcraig beach which is lovely and clean and was family and dog friendly with an ice cream van in the car park at the top of the path leading to the beach. The site is in an excellent location with North Berwick, various attractions, museums and historical locations on it's doorstep. We would recommend a visit to Archerfield Walled Garden, we had a lovely lunch in the farm shop cafe.

Lovely Yellowcraig

We had a five night stay at Yellowcraig a couple of weeks ago and found it to be a lovely site, well presented and maintained by friendly staff. The facilities are very good too, maybe a touch dated but superbly clean as is the whole site. It was a memorable stay with easy beach access and good walks all around. Our only complaint was noisy dogs which were not under proper control... a team of three Akitas, one of which whimpered and whined constantly for attention and a couple of Labradors which barked for attention if they weren't included in family activities. This is not in any way a complaint against dogs, there were plenty of others which were no bother at all but it is a complaint against owners who do not consider other members who go away for a quiet and peaceful stay in the countryside. It would be a help if the site wardens were able to keep a closer eye on this situation on all sites, after all it is a condition of the club site rules.

First Outing of the Year

First outing of the year. We really like this site, clean, close to a wonderful beach and the team are always friendly. Facilities are clean, warm and always lots of hot water. We will no doubt be back at some point this year.

Fantastic location, wonderful site

We find ourselves back at this site time and again. The location is truly stunning and I dont think we would ever tire of it. Toilet block is adequate and always clean if not somewhat old. What is frustrating though is the price members are asked to pay. This cannot be anything other than daylight robbery! No idea how anyone at the club can possibly think this is in any way even coming close to reasonable.

Lack of investment

Been to this site for years, and every year comes and goes, the toilet/shower facilities look more shabby and tired, yet the cost to go to this particular site grows higher, the club is well aware the site's location is key for returning members but there is a limit. There is no value for money. Its the best location for a club site with lots to see and places to visit etc. Its very disappointing the cost is over shadowing booking again to this location.

Our favourite site with the nicest beaches.

We probably visit Yellowcraig Site more than any other club site, year on year, There is just so much to do nearby, beautiful beaches, amazing walks on the John Muir Way. Super cool cafe's perched on cliff tops ( Drift ) to Historic Castles. Close by there are Aviation and Motoring Museums and walled Gardens for the plant lovers amongst you. Yellow craig is Special, and the teams that run the site are amazingly friendly and accommodating.

What a site

It's one of our favorite clubsite finds..easy walk to the stunning beach, great site facilities, really friendly helpful wardens and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Love the feel of the site with its little sections of plots. Very happy buzz to the place and lovely ambience with trees, bushes and wildlife Will definitely return

Beautiful site

Stayed here 4 times since Covid and absolutely love it. It’s well maintained, clean and tidy, staff are always lovely and friendly and it’s a 5 minutes walk to the beach which is just perfect for families and people with dogs. Would definitely recommend the only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi but if you go to the dog walking area you can pick it up there, I know the club is supposed to be rectifying this issue by the end of the year. The toilet block is always clean but could do with updating but definitely wouldn’t put me off coming back to the site again and will be back again next year.
